My name is Robert Brown and I am the sole proprietor of Hostlounge Net Services.
Hostlounge Net Services is my company that I started in 2003. In the beginning it was a Belgian based company called just 'Hostlounge'. Since July 2005 I have struck out on my own and now serving clients in Belgium, Europe and the States.
I have been using computers since 1988. I was present when the bulletin board system became extinct and the internet took form. Mosaic was my first graphical browser and CGI Perl was my first web development language that I used. Hey! I am not that old and Perl is still being used today...
In the year 2000 I recieved my degree in Computer Science and Programming from Grand Valley State University. At first I was going to be an engineer/programmer however I fell in love with Belgium and the Internet. So now I am what some would call a "Web Guru".
I have stayed true to the open source roots of my college days and continue to develop using PHP and MySql.
